I'm still here. I have given up on twitter. It's too pointless.

My tweets are posting, but they are posting privately, which is dumb.

I think it was about joining livejournal and how I was going to use it to post about student teaching experiences or something.

So, I joined twitter. The phenomenon that is taking everyone by storm. I'm still skeptical about how much it is necessary, but if it turns out that I like it and people are interested in knowing what is going on in my life, I will continue using it.

I'm mainly making this post for either Misty or Heather, maybe Tracy, because I know you can update LJ via twitter. This may entice me to make more posts from here.

I'm also mainly joining Twitter because Vanessa and I are going on a cross country trip on Sunday. We are going out east to South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington DC. Being that internet is not guaranteed everywhere, I want to keep the twitter as not only a mini-journal for myself, but also to let everyone know we are ok.

You know, maybe I should tell my mom about this, because then she won't call me at very inconvenient times, she can just look it up.

Tomorrow's agenda: clean living room, stop mail, mail package to dad, pack, meet with Kelly about cats... I think that's about it.

Oh BTW, Tegan had surgery today, she had a tooth pulled. All is ok though.

I love my wife so much.

I have the flu... it is not a lot of fun... I'm home for the 2nd time in a week... but I think I will be all right by the end of the week. Without the meds I feel as though i have been hit by a truck. Lots of advil and I got a script for prescription robatussin with codiene... I've been resting and chilling today, catching up on 24 episodes I missed.

I also need some new userpics I have decided, if I'm going to update more often I should do more that reflect my life now.

I get so worn out so much lately, and it's not just from the fact that I'm working out more than I have since being in gym class in high school (I'm running, biking, and doing some weights for my upper body). But teaching middle schoolers just wears me out so much sometimes. I feel like all I want to do when I get home is sleep most days. And that also brings my morale down, I feel like I fail when I have had a bad day, and feel like I can do better than I did on a good day. It is quite discouraging. I guess I always question myself for choosing this profession... some days I imagine having a job that allows me to have some sort of a social life.

I know the super bowl is a big deal, and I do like watching it, but this years was so disappointing. I watched last year and was cheering that the Pats lost. However, I disliked the fact that the Steelers won this year. I'm glad I went out with my wife and got food instead of watching most of the game.

Speaking of food... Vanessa and I are celebrating our anniversary of our engagement next week. Since I asked her the day after Valentines Day, we are going to the same restarurant sort of. The restaurant I took her last year to is a 5 star restaurant that was amazing yet very expensive. There is also a "Cafe Spiaggia" that is much more affordable, with a great atmosphere, and we are going there this year for Valentines Day.

I really do not want to go to school tomorrow... however I do have energy facing this week, because I was sick yesterday and slept most of the day. Today I felt better.

I'm going to start posting here or somewhere. I haven't decided yet. But sometimes I just want a place to vent. It's either going to be here, my old blogspot, or my myspace. But I find that when I find a place to vent my frustrations or anger or something i feel better. I miss that.

One of the cats threw up in the bed this morning and Vanessa was like "ew" and i was like "ew" and it was really "ew".

I haven't posted in this thing in over a year... so for those few who read this which is probably me and Misty which means you already knew this...

I post on facebook so much I usually don't post in here anymore but I should. Anyways, the job situation is going ok, I had one interview that went amazingly well and I hope I get that job. I have another one coming up this week. I just want a job. I figure now that the 4th is over I'll get many more interviews.

Geez I need to write in this thing more.

It's about 899 degrees in my apartment righ tnow. I just bought another fan. It's not helping too much. I have all my windows and fans going full blast. Everything except the AC. BECAUSE IT IS BROKEN. :(

And 1 week until the new Rush album hits the shelves... I cannot wait

Would post the old ones but I don't feel like looking for them right now

Spring break is next week and it's needed so badly....

Went to the city today to go to the library, and picked up tons of multicultural music to do with my 3rd and 4th graders. I think Roots and Branches has enough for me to do with my younger ones. I hope. I also found a Genesis book and 2 Rush books to tinker around with on the piano which makes me so excited and so mad that I don't have a piano.
